Rentals are for 4, 8, or 12 hours, once or over a longer period, subject to availability. A contract lasts at most one year. The agreed amount is fixed. If you cancel, amounts already paid are not refunded.
A contract is signed between the Foundation and the renter. A refundable $300 security deposit is generally required before the event. Furniture is inventoried and the condition of the room is noted before occupancy.
Someone from the organization or group is named as the person in charge. They sign the request and the contract with the person responsible for rentals. The renter follows the room capacity, tobacco rules, and other applicable laws, and obtains any permits the activity requires, at their own expense.
The condition of the room is noted before and after each rental. If something is broken or damaged when the keys are returned, the renter pays for replacement or repair. The deposit may then be refunded only in part. The Foundation will say so.
The room must be vacated no later than 30 minutes after the time set in the contract. Any overrun must be reported to the person responsible for rentals. If the room is still free, the renter pays the cost of staying late. The room is left as it was found. Cleaning between rentals means the hall is not rented to several groups on the same day unless that has been agreed in advance.
Smoking is prohibited inside the Centre. Animals are not allowed unless they accompany someone who needs them. Emergency exits stay clear. Alcohol is prohibited without a permit that complies with the law. Lingering outside (parking, entrances, exits, corridors) and making noise that disturbs the neighbours is prohibited.
Most bookings are made by email or phone. If you already rent the hall, write or call: there is no need to fill in the form each time. The team then adds the booking to the calendar, with the hours and the organization’s name, so you can check that it is there.

Confirmed bookings appear with their hours and the name of the organization or activity. An online request is not a confirmation: the team first checks availability. Regular clients can email or call directly.
